In May 2026, Matt’s life changed overnight.

 

What initially seemed like neurological symptoms quickly became a catastrophic medical emergency involving a spinal cord tumor, a brain bleed, emergency surgery, ICU hospitalization, paralysis and loss of function on his left side, and an uncertain recovery ahead. Matt remains in San Francisco undergoing treatment, rehabilitation, and continued medical care while doctors work to understand the full scope of what recovery may look like.

 

For those who know Matt, you know he has always been a creator, an artist, a tattooer, a friend, and most importantly, a devoted father to Felix. But because Matt is self-employed, this medical crisis didn’t just stop his health in its tracks , it stopped his income too.

 

This website was created as a central place for our community to rally around Matt during the hardest chapter of his life.

 

Here, you will be able to purchase raffle tickets for a variety of donated baskets, products, experiences, and prizes leading up to the Benefit Car Show happening in August 2026. The winning raffle tickets will be drawn live at the car show. We intentionally wanted to launch raffle sales early so support could begin immediately, instead of waiting until the day of the event.

 

Every dollar raised through raffle ticket sales, donations, merchandise, and event support goes directly toward helping Matt survive this unimaginable situation.

 

That support includes:

• Rent and monthly bills while he remains hospitalized and unable to work 

• Medical-related travel and expenses 

• Rehabilitation and recovery costs 

• Helping provide stability for Matt and Felix during an incredibly uncertain future 

• Creating some form of income stream while Matt’s long-term ability to return to tattooing and work remains unknown
